It is here, even if it was cold today (in the 30s all day).
Daffodils are in bloom, and crocuses are popping up in my back yard!
I've got only one thing to say to the cold weather:
Chomp!
In other news, speaking of chomping, I cooked a maitake ("Hen of the Woods") mushroom for dinner tonight--sauteed with onions and kale, and a bit of herbs de provence, served over quinoa, with a bit of chevre. I was quite good, despite the very strange--and beautiful--appearance of these mushrooms. They look like some sort of strange floral sea creature... but are very high in vitamin D!
